FORMAT
Each team will play a minimum of three games during pool play on Saturday.
Game length will consist of 2 -12 minute halves with 1- 2 minute halftime period
Competition is scheduled to begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday and conclude on Sunday. The top four teams in each bracket after pool play will be seeded for competition on Sunday.

COSTS AND AWARDS: Entry fee covers costs for referees, fields and awards.
Teams may roster up to a maximum of 6 players. The fee for each team is 100 dollars.

Games will be considered complete if one half has been completed and the game Director stops play. REFUND POLICY: If withdrawing after acceptance into tournament a refund
will be given if a replacement team is found by the withdrawing team.
AIRPARK 3 v 3 OFFICIAL RULES
PLAYER REGISTRATION: All players must be registered on their teams registration form before the tournament begins. Any team or player determined to have falsified age will be dismissed from the tournament. All players must carry proof of age.
ROSTERS: All rosters are frozen upon completion of the team’s first game.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: SIX is the maximum number of players on a team; three field players at one time. Players may play on only one team per division. There are no goalkeepers in 3-v-3 soccer. Substitutes may occur at any dead ball situation, but players must get referees attention and enter and exit at the half field mark only. Teams must have at least two players for a match to begin.
EQUIPMENT: ALL players must wear SHIN GUARDS. Any player without shin guards will not be allowed to play. HARD CASTS will not be allowed. All braces shall be inspected prior to use. Teams are responsible for providing game balls. Preferred Ball Size for U10-U12 = #4, U13 and up = #5. In the event that age groups are combined, the teams should use the older division’s ball. AIRPARK 3 V 3 IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST EQUIPMENT.
FIELD DIMENSIONS: Length 40 yards, Width 30 yards,
GOAL BOX: the goal box is approxamently 8 feet wide by 10 feet long, is directly in front of the goal. No player may touch the ball within the goal box, however any player may move through the goal box. Any part of the ball or players body on the line is considered in the goal box; the player is an extension of the box. If a defender touches the ball in the goal box, a goal is awarded. If an offensive player touches the ball within the goal box a goal kick is awarded to the defensive team. If the ball comes to a stop in the goal box; regardless of which team last touched it a goal kick is awarded to the defensive team. The goals are approximately 4 feet high by 6 feet wide.
GAME DURATION: The game shall consist of two 12 minute halves separated by a two minute halftime period. The game shall end when a team reaches 12 goals. Games tied after pool play shall end in a tie. In playoffs; there will be a three minute golden goal period followed by a shootout. There will be a ten minute grace period for late teams; after this time has expired the game will be declared a forfeit.
GOAL SCORING: A goal may be scored from a touch on the offensive half of the playing field only.
SCORING: Games will be scored according to the following: 3 points for a win 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss. 1 point awarded for each goal up to 3 goals.
TIEBREAKERS: In pool play, ties between two or more teams will be broken by; 1)Head to head results between tied teams; 2) Goal difference in pool play: 3) Fewest goals against in Pool Play; 4)Coin toss best two out of three;
PLAYOFF OVERTIME: Teams will have a 3 MINUTE “GOLDEN GOAL” OVERTIME PERIOD. If the score is still tied, the winner shall be decided by shootout with the players on the field. If a team is playing short due to a sending off penalty, the other team will equate in numbers. NO OFFSIDES IN 3V3 SOCCER AND NO SLIDE TACKLING WILL BE ALLOWED
FIVE YARD RULE: In all dead ball situations, defending players must stand at least five yards from the ball. If the defensive player’s goal area is closer than five yards the ball shall be placed five yards from the goal area in line with the spot of the foul.
KICK-INS: The ball shall be kicked into play from the touch line instead of a throw inn
INDIRECT KICKS: All dead ball kicks (kick-inns, free kicks, kick-offs) are indirect with the exception to corner kicks and penalty kicks.
GOAL KICKS: Will be taken from any point on the goal line and not in the goal box area.
KICK OFF: may be taken in any direction
PENALTY KICKS: they shall be awarded if; in the referee’s opinion a scoring opportunity was denied by the infraction. It is a direct kick taken from the spot on the field that the game was started on. All other players are to be behind the center circle. If a goal is not scored, the defense obtains possession with a goal kick. Penalty kicks are NOT live balls.
PLAYER EJECTION: (YELLOW/RED CARD) Referees have the right to eject a player from the game for continual disobedience or as a result that warrants a sending off. RED CARD suspension=Rest of game + the next game. Tournament director may ban player for the rest of the tournament. RED CARDED PLAYERS MUST LEAVE THE FIELD AREA IMMEDIATELY. IF A FIELD PLAYER IS EJECTED FROM THE GAME THE TEAM WILL PLAY WITH TWO FIELD PLAYERS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THAT GAME.
FORFEITS: A forfeit shall be scored as 5-0. A team that forfeits in pool play will be ineligible for the medals rounds. All teams will have a ten minute grace period to begin games
SPORTMANSHIP: Players, coaches and spectators are expected to act in the nature of good sportsmanship at all times. Abuse of the referees will not be tolerated. Any instance of such conduct may disqualify the responsible team from the event.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST CARRY PROOF OF AGE. DRIVERS LICENSE OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE.SITUATIONS OR OCCURRENCES THAT THESE RULES DO NOT ADDRESS SHALL BE LEFT UP TO THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR AND HEAD REFEREE.

TEAM & PLAYER REGISTRATION:

All players must be registered on their teams' “TEAM ENTRY AND RELEASE OF LIABLITY” form before the
tournament begins. Any team or player determined to have falsified age will be dismissed from the
tournament. All players must carry proof of age. All players are required to check in at the registration table
prior to first game.

The “TEAM ENTRY AND RELEASE OF LIABLITY” form filled out and signed.
Proof of age - either a copy of birth certificate, a driver's license, or valid player pass.
FORMAT:
Each team will play a minimum of three games during pool play on Saturday, July 18, with competition
beginning at 8:30 a.m. The top four teams in each bracket after pool play on Saturday will be seeded for
playoff competition on Sunday. Games can end in a tie during pool play. In playoffs there will be a three
minute golden goal period followed by a shootout. When pool play is finished, ties between two or more
teams will be broken by; 1)Head to head results between tied teams; 2) Goal difference in pool play: 3) Fewest
goals against in pool play; 4)Coin toss best two out of three.
Teams must have at least two players for a match to begin. There will be a ten minute grace period for late
teams; after 10 minutes the game will be declared a forfeit.
NO OFFSIDES IN 3V3 SOCCER AND SLIDE TACKLING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

Please observe all parking laws. No protests will be allowed.
ANY SITUATIONS THAT THESE RULES DO NOT ADDRESS SHALL BE LEFT UP TO THE
SOLE DISCRETION OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR AND HEAD REFEREE.
